Our Founding Story:
Dr. Don Shaffer, a graduate of Life University, founded our practice in 1964 with a deep passion for community service and a commitment to the advancing field of chiropractic medicine. By bringing natural healthcare to the greater Dayton area, his unwavering dedication to patient care established the strong foundation of trust and integrity that our clinic still builds upon today.
Continuing a Legacy of Family Wellness
In 2000, Dr. Andrew Hummel and Dr. Cynthia Hummel took over the practice after beginning their chiropractic careers in 1995. As a dedicated husband-and-wife team, they poured their passion for patient care into the office; becoming trusted healthcare providers and respected leaders in the Brookville community.
The family tradition proudly continued in 2021 when Dr. Marcus Hummel joined the practice. Dr. Marcus officially took ownership in 2024, continuing to uphold the core values, deep compassion, and patient-centered approach that have guided our clinic for decades.
Expanding Our Services & Expertise
To better serve Brookville and Tipp City, our team has grown to include Dr. Jordann Gudorf who began her chiropractic journey with our offices in 2025. We are also proud to introduce our newest team member, Morgan Bowers, LMT who began massage therapy at our offices in May of 2026.
